Triple storytime TODAY + a horse parade is coming 🐴
Good morning, Delaware County. Nearly $3 million worth of road and path work is headed Powell's way after council signed off on a sweeping maintenance contract — think fresh asphalt, sidewalk fixes, and curb ramp upgrades across town. It's the kind of infrastructure investment that's easy to overlook until you hit one too many rough patches on your morning commute. On the farming front, researchers are flagging red crown rot concerns after confirming the disease in the county last year, urging growers to scout fields closely before it spreads further.
Nationally, oil prices are climbing again as Iran tensions rattle energy markets, and the TSA is quietly reshaping how airports work. On a much gentler note, the library calendar is serving up a triple dose of storytimes on September 10th — and fresh real estate listings are waiting inside.
