Needlework, junk journals & live music — your week just got weird 🎶
Good morning, Meigs County. Sacred Heart Church opened its doors Sunday evening for a District 17 meeting — proof that civic life in small towns still runs on community spaces and folding chairs. It's the kind of gathering that quietly keeps everything moving.
Beyond Pomeroy, the national news is a lot — U.S.-Iran tensions escalating, trade friction with Canada spreading into dairy and motorcycles, and a jobs report hot enough to make the Fed sweat. Nvidia also just turned AI into a $12.9 billion group project, so there's that. Closer to home, the week's social calendar is worth a look: needlework networking, junk journaling, and the Emily Singer Band are all on deck before the weekend wraps up. Fresh real estate listings are waiting inside too.
