Quilts, ghost crafts & a farm fest — your fall social calendar just filled up 🍂
Good morning, Jackson County. Storm damage has a way of reminding everyone that recovery takes more than elbow grease — and federal lawmakers are now pushing for a disaster declaration that could bring real resources to communities across Ohio, including right here. On the national front, employers added 162,000 jobs in August, which is the kind of number that keeps the "soft landing" crowd cautiously optimistic, while trade tensions with Canada escalated into a fresh round of tariff back-and-forth that nobody really wins.
Closer to home, the weekend is shaping up nicely — the OHillCo Quilt & Craft Show kicks off September 9th, Hope Fest lands September 17th, and Jacob Tolliver brings live dinner music that same night. Fresh property listings are waiting in Real Estate too. Good things ahead.
