The child was rushed to Nationwide Children's Hospital in critical condition after being shot on the 1200 block of North Sixth Street in Columbus, Ohio's University District around 3:30 PM on Sunday. While the initial call suggested the injury may have been self-inflicted or accidental, subsequent callers indicated a separate shooter may have been involved. Several teenagers and at least one adult were inside the residence at the time, and an unrelated teenage boy fled the scene immediately after. Northwest Bank Headquarters Planned for Dublin, Ohio
π¦ Northwest Bank is planting deep roots in Dublin, Ohio. The bank plans to relocate its headquarters to 75,000 square feet at Bridge North, a mixed-use development in Dublin's Bridge Street District, with the move expected in the first half of 2029. Northwest Bank signed a 15-year lease and projects the space will support roughly double its current workforce by 2034, including a ground-floor financial center offering wealth management services. Dublin sweetened the deal with payroll-based incentives capped at $460,000 and a $50,000 location grant. The move complements the bank's broader central Ohio expansion, which includes four additional Columbus-area branches planned by Q2 2027. Read more
