Good morning, Jackson County. Eleven wins, zero losses, one tie β the Jackson Ironmen soccer squad is playing some of the most balanced football in the state right now, and a 5-1 dismantling of Amanda-Clearcreek proves it. Four different goal-scorers in a single match is the kind of team depth that keeps opposing coaches up at night. Meanwhile, seven local students just landed on SNHU's President's List, which means Jackson County is winning in the classroom too. On the community front, the Jackson-Vinton Farm Bureau is hosting a free women's empowerment evening on October 29th β speakers, vendors, and real conversations worth showing up for. Nationally, a Category 2 hurricane is threatening the Gulf Coast. Closer to home, live music, Family Storytime, fresh Real Estate listings, and a Financial Friday tip about guilt-free spending are all waiting inside. βοΈ What's Brewing Locally Ironmen boys soccer team keeps rolling with 5-1 win over Amanda-Clearcreek β½ Jackson's Ironmen soccer team is nearly perfect at 11-0-1. The squad cruised past Amanda-Clearcreek 5-1, with four different players finding the net β Alvero Garcia, Grant Massie, Aiden Campbell, and Zane Hoyt, who scored twice. Coach Lee Lord credited the team's balanced attack, emphasizing that relying on one player would spell trouble. The win also gave younger players valuable varsity experience, with Lord noting they're growing more comfortable at the higher level.
