Horses, marbles & tiny readers — your weekend has a plan 🐴
Good morning, Delaware County. The courtrooms are busy, the economy is sending mixed signals, and Wall Street had a rough Thursday — the kind of morning that makes a toddler storytime sound genuinely appealing. Between the Supreme Court weighing in on mail-in ballots, the DOJ rattling states over immigration policy, and the Fed getting more inflation data than it probably wanted, the national news cycle is running at full tilt.
Meanwhile, the services sector quietly picked up in August, which is a small win buried under a lot of noise. Closer to home, the library calendar is stacking up for the little ones — Storytime hits Orange and Delaware branches this weekend, which is the kind of low-stakes, high-reward event we could all use right now. Fresh real estate listings are also waiting inside.
