Fall's sneaking up fast — and your calendar's about to get very full 🍂
Good morning, Jackson County. Five people lost their lives when an Amazon cargo plane attempted to abort a troubled landing in Miami and didn't make it — a sobering reminder of how quickly things can go sideways at 30,000 feet. Back on the ground, the Supreme Court blocked a congressional map appeal out of Missouri, turning redistricting into a full-blown legal soap opera, while the White House cranked up trade pressure on Canada with fresh duties and import restrictions.
On a much brighter note, Jackson County's fall calendar is heating up beautifully — Jacob Tolliver brings live dinner music on the 17th, Hope Fest rolls in that same day, and Jackson Apple Fest closes out the month on the 22nd. Real Estate has fresh local listings worth a look too. Good things ahead.
